1.  What is Deal Exchange?

Deal Exchange is an online service that was created to assist public and private companies in finding investment capital.  The system matches companies that are looking for financing with Investment Professionals who are looking to finance companies.

2.  Is Deal Exchange competing with me?

No, Deal Exchange is here to complement your business by enabling you to find new companies that are looking for financing and view them by industry and/or amount of financing.

3.  How much does Deal Exchange cost?

There is no cost to Investment Professionals for participation. Companies are required to pay modest success fees upon financing.

4.  What is a registered investment professional?

It is an investment professional who has the appropriate registration with one of the provincial securities commissions in Canada.  Typically, that covers: Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, and/or Investment Advisors with full service investment dealers or Limited Market Dealers.

5.  Is it only CNSX public companies that are viewable on Deal Exchange?

No, Deal Exchange hosts deals from CNSX listed companies , public companies on other exchanges, and private companies.

6.  Are there only Canadian companies on Deal Exchange?

No, companies from all over the world can register for Deal Exchange.

7.  If I indicate interest in a company do they contact me?

No, you request contact information for the company, you are then given access to their contact details, and then you may contact them at your convenience.

8.  Are private companies required to list on CNSX if they find financing through Deal Exchange?

No, companies can stay private, or list on another stock exchange -- or on CNSX.

9. What is the purpose of making the company submit PIFs to CNSX in order to participate on Deal Exchange?

By requiring the management of participating companies to submit Personal Information Forms (PIFs), the dealers can be confident that they are serious about getting financed. You can also be assured that the company's management team has been reviewed by CNSX -- an important step toward your due diligence.

10.  What type of information will I be reviewing on the companies?

You will be reviewing a business summary that has pertinent information, in point form, that will give you a preliminary understanding of the deal.

11.  Is my own information public?

No, your information is kept confidential with Deal Exchange until you request more information on a company.  At that point, only the company in question will be informed of your interest.

12.  Is Deal Exchange fully automated?

Not fully.
